Objektbeschreibung
Salföld is perhaps the most beautiful village in the Balaton Uplands, with a uniform streetscape and beautifully renovated houses. One of these gems is now for sale.
The house facing the street was built around 1870 and was renovated by the current Dutch owners in the early 2000s. The original beams are clearly visible here, and a beehive oven provides warmth for the home.
The rear, later part of the building houses a modern kitchen. The two parts of the house are interconnected, and both provide access to the guest rooms upstairs.
In the back of the garden, a small structure leads down to a wine cellar. Another gem of the property is a beautifully renovated barn built of natural stone. The back garden is accessed through a wrought-iron gate.
The total floor area of the buildings is 320 m2, and the plot is 950 m2. Two kitchens, six rooms, three bathrooms. Gas heating + wood-burning stove.
All furnishings are included in the price.

Lage
The village (Salföld) boasts a lively community and a rich cultural program, and is located halfway between the northern shore of Lake Balaton and another village with a lively weekend market. Plenty points of interest within a half-an hour drive, some of the most iconic ones in Hungary: Hévíz (thermal spa), Tapolca (cave with a lake), Badacsony wine region, Tihany peninsula (medieval abbey, levander fields) -- the region is often compared to Tuscany.
